I brought Jaya, formerly Jewell, home as a foster last spring. She was happy to have that painful leg removed. The first thing is she fit in with the rest of the pack quickly. Everyone liked her. She wrestles with Monster (lil one), she will play tug o war with Foxxy (red), and follows Chance (blonde) around the backyard for the rest of the day. They all pile into the car, Foxxy and Jaya will share a window. They do everything together. The pack chose her.
My thoughts was she was missing a leg. Why would anyone want this funny looking dog compared to the four legged beauties Sioux Empire Pit Rescue has? I named her Jaya because it means Victory. She has past exceeded my expectations. She fits in my lap better then any other 60 lb dog. She is a clown and comedian. I enjoy her bear like growl when she plays. And those floppy ears I can't stop laughing at. I've never had a dog that drools so much (down the side of my car). Grown to appreciate the sloppy kisses, the ones from my chin to my forehead. And she is so appreciative for a good neck scratch. We are so happy to keep her in the our family.
Thank you SEPR.
