Age: Adult
Weight: 64 lbs
Color: Fawn and Blue
When you think of the singer Adele, a lot of people might say she is amazing, powerful, meaningful, and has a heart that was broke one too many times.
Adele dog is all of the singer and some. Christmas Eve Adele was singing "hello from the outside" as she made the trip to the promise land of South Dakota. The big promise that she will not spend another night in a shelter, and that she will never run out of love she deserves again. Finally she made it to her last stepping stone to her forever.
I shall hand the mic over and let her try to steal your heart.
I go by the name of Adele, I don't sing like you think I should but I make up for it in other ways. One way is my sweetness, you know that old saying "older the bear, sweeter the porridge" it pretty much is my life. I am right around the 6 year old mark but can do pretty much anything those young whipper snappers can do. Actually I can do it all... with experience. Please don't let that fool you, I'm like the cool grandma that has a lot of hip in my walk left.
For training I need to work on.... Hahaha are you kidding me? I do not need much training on anything, just the maintenance training so I don't forget my commands foster dad had to figure out. I sit, lay, look, and stay. I came straight out of the pound a professional. I don't even make my lazy foster dad bend over to clean up my accidents. I'll just wait until he takes me outside. You know happy wife happy life translates into happy foster dad more treats.
I love to spend my time sawing logs on anyone's lap, the other time I like to lay in my crate with my Kong. I wish foster dad would keep the door open all the time because I like to wonder in there myself. He says he can not because he does want the two other four legged crazies in my place. Yeah you read that right, I'm dog friendly also. I have a mellow old man like myself in my foster home and one that has more energy than me and the old man put together. He doesn't bother me much and I can walk away from him whenever I please. The crazy one keeps me on my toes and gives me a nice workout when it is play time.
I also live with a 3 yr old boy who has more energy then all three of us put together, boy is he a handful for all three dogs and the foster parents. He is a great cuddler though so at night you will find me cuddling and playing hot wheels with foster dad and him in his room. Then it's good night kisses for him and off to my foster parents room where I lay quietly. Foster dad actually has to wake me up at 5:30 AM so he can take me outside to do my thing and come back in to feed me breakfast. Then after that I am crated until he gets home from work.
Grooming me is easyyyyy. I do not give any fuss in the shower. Foster dad even clips my nails himself... He is slower then molasses, but don't tell him that. He lets me crash on his couch while I find forever, so I will be patient with him. :)
So if you are ready for a dog that knows her stuff and can handle lazy raining days on the couch I may just pick you.
