Hey y'all! Bianca here, I'm sure you've heard a lot about me and my journey to safety here with SEPR from Georgia. I've been here several months now, and I love this life! This last July I had some much needed surgery to repair my knees and I am as good as new!
I have a few tricks up my sleeve including sit, lie down, come, back up and kennel. I have officially made my debut into society and it has been amazing! My foster mom has been working really hard on proving to me that the world isn’t actually so scary. I was pretty afraid coming here but with each day, I learn something new that broadens my horizon. I am very happy to report that I passed my Train-a-Bull class with flying colors and learning new confidence levels! However, true to my southern roots I can be stubborn if the incentive isn’t up to my standards.
My foster siblings are busy teaching me the ropes as I haven't been a house dog for quite some time, if ever. My foster brother is an adult pit bull and my foster sister is 11 year old lab. I fit in rather quickly and that's built my confidence tremendously. I do get nervous in new situations, but I can calm down with a little investigation into the ruckus! A southern gal like me would hate to admit this I have had a few accidents in the house, but that was mostly because I needed more time in the yard. These things can’t be rushed!
After my double ACL repair surgery my foster mom took me on lots of walks to help build up my strength in my legs. I have become such a pro at it! If I had my way we would walk the way I want, but my foster mom says I need a strong leader to keep me focused and not throwing a tantrum about my gentle leader head collar. I think a tiara would be more fitting instead. I can’t believe she said I can be such a “princess” about getting my way. I don’t think that was a compliment.
I’ve been told that I would be such a bad poker player too! I guess I give away all my thoughts and feeling in my facial expressions and in my perky ears. Some may even say I am nosey when I hear a strange about the house. I just can’t help myself! I need to check it out immediately! You have to remember the house was new to me and the “North” is new to me too.
My foster mom says I will need a pretty patient forever home. I think that I would love to have furry foster siblings, but please no small fuzzy things. I just find that they are better to chase then to play with. You know kiddos would be ok as long as they are bigger. Loud noises and fast movement can make me shy away from situations. I can be a Diva. All in all I would just love my own forever home.
