Chap                                                   **** ADOPTED****

Picture
Meet Chap, the canine velcro!  Chap comes to SEPR as a stray from SW Cedar Rapids. He was a bit underweight but may have been on his own for a while. He has since gained enough weight and is in perfect shape. He had quickly become the favorite of those that care for him and the volunteers that exercise him at the shelter. He is extremely calm and gentle..a child could walk him with ease. He is quiet, housebroke, neutered, and friendly to all-including all the other dogs. He most certainly deserves a family to care about him to shower him with attention and affection.

Chap is a true lover in every sense of the word.  He loves to cuddle! When you leave a room, he is trailing right behind you!  This little love bug doesn’t have a mean bone in his super soft little body.  He will shower you with kisses and love you until you say uncle.

Chap loves to lie outside in the grass and chew on rawhides.  He loves to play with stuffed animals and of course his kong and wubba.  Chap also enjoys playing with his foster brother in a game of tug of war and tag.

Being a little shy and uncertain, he is still nervous about car rides but is getting better with every trip.  Chap is getting used to his crate and is starting to go right in without much guidance. He rarely barks making him a great candidate for close neighbor dwelling.  Chap needs a home with a family willing to give lots of love and attention as he has the type of personality that deserves and requires that.  Whatever love you give him he’ll give back 10 fold! Take a look at the sweetest dog you’ll ever meet.
