Miss Copper is full of energy and is quick witted!
Copper came into her foster home being very healthy, so her foster family has had more time to focus on how to be the best family member possible! Copper knows sit, lay, sit up, look and we are working shake! We are also working on staying in one place, trade, and keeping all “four on the floor”. Copper is a quick learner, so she will have these down in no time!
Copper loves her humans so much that she loves to lie on the floor and get belly rubs while her humans watch TV. She has become the perfect Velcro dog! Copper shows her appreciation and love by sitting pretty in the bath while being cleaned. She is learning to hop into the bath herself, and loves to do zoomies after the bath. Copper has learned to enjoy bathtime so much, that she doesn't mind initiating one herself while her human is scrubbing up! She has learned to show her appreciation to foster mom by giving hugs and lots of kisses!
Copper does enjoy going into her kennel, but prefers to be with her humans. She does get a little whiney but quickly settles down and enjoys her peanut butter or yogurt stuffed Kong as a reward. Copper has learned to keep her kennel and home clean, and has learned to show her foster parents when she needs to go out.
Copper loves to play outside and enjoys going on walks. She walks like a champ on her gentle leader for foster mom. Copper even knows to sit at the corner before crossing the street. Miss Copper has also become an expert at walking on the treadmill when it gets cold outside. Copper has loved the few kiddos she has met
Copper loves to pass the time by chewing on bones, playing with squeaky toys and running around! She thinks the best thing in the world is playing fetch with her tennis ball and all her brain games! She enjoys food puzzles and car rides. Her favorite summer activity is riding in the car to get a doggy sundae after some hard work picking out a toy at the store.
Copper is looking for her forever home. She doesn't mind if there are cats there and she is learning to enjoy the company of her canine sister. Copper's forever family wish is that they are an active family who will let her go on their adventures with them! She would rather be next to you on your hike than lying in her kennel at home!
Are you Copper's forever parent?
