SEPR FUND & SPONSORSEPR is a 501C3 nonprofit organization run exclusively by volunteers. Donations are tax deductible. Throughout the years SEPR has rescued and treated dogs with all kind of medical issues. From mange to broken bones, flea infestation to severe malnutrition, heartworm disease to allergies, etc. Not only did these dogs survive - they flourished and became cherished pets. And we couldn't have done it without you. Rescuing dogs is a very expensive endeavor and our volunteers have their hands full. We can't always keep up. You can help us out by donating money or sponsoring a Pit Bull in our care to ease our burden and make it possible for us to continue rescuing these precious souls. 100% of all donations received go directly to the care of our rescued dogs. Dogs in our program cost an average of $250.00 depending on their medical needs and length of stay. To give the dogs a better chance however, our adoption fee is much less. This means that SEPR absorbs a large part of the cost of most dogs in our program. Pit Bulls can take several months to place. Some of our rescue dogs have been in foster care for as long as one year. Many of them come infested with parasites, including heartworms and/or mange which is very expensive to treat. In addition, the dogs need food, toys, crates, other medical care, etc. We print educational material and other supplies needed for adoption events. Some of our foster homes have become mini sanctuaries for hard to place Pit Bulls and care for several dogs at a time. Imagine when everyone needs their shots - Or think about parasite season when all the dogs need flea and heartworm prevention once a month. We can't do it alone.... The "Sponsor a dog" programs have made a world of difference for our rescue dogs. Even if you can’t bring a new dog into your home, you can still save a life....
Our sponsor programs allow us to buy good quality food for the dogs in our care, to spare no expense to give them efficient parasite management, to assure essential medical care to the dogs who need it, to buy extra toys and treats, dog houses, supplies, etc. Without it, we would not be able to help as many dogs. Please view our adoptable dogs and you will see which ones need sponsors. Send us an Email to let us know which dog you would like to sponsor and which program you prefer. We will add your name or the name of your company below the dog of your choice. BULLY LOVER - As You Wish Our Bully lover program is for those who want to send an arbitrary amount of money to help us pay for special medical needs, boarding fees, or other outstanding expenses. GOOD SAMARITAN - Minimum $100.00 one time This amount helps SEPR provider our foster homes with the initial items needed for a new foster dog..... such as dog food, collars and leash, gentle leaders, crates, blankets, dog pillows, toys, treat, black kongs extremes, baby gates and so much more. BULLY HELPING HAND - $200.00 SEPR could use a hand with the initial cost of the dogs we bring into the program to cover bailing the dog out of a high kill shelter, spaying or neutering, heartworm test, microchip, shots, deworming, etc. BULLY BENEFACTOR - $300.00 This amount helps us pay for special medical needs.... such as complete heartworm treatment and prevention medicine, demadex mange treatments and much more. GUARDIAN ANGEL - $400.00 This amount helps us pay for special medical needs.... such as a complete a leg amputation, tumor removals, hip replacements and much more. |
