June 23rd = 2012 Annual SEPR Poker Run
2012 SEPR POKER RUN T-SHIRTS
This years Sioux Empire Pit Rescue Poker Run is going to be like no other poker run you've been on! Not only will we be stopping at some quaint little watering holes, but we will be touring Klock Werks Kustom Cycles in Mitchell, SD. Home of the Worlds Fastest Bagger! Here's the story of how this proverbial ''middle of nowhere'' custom bike shop went from a 700 square foot garage, to tripling the number of employees, and being awarded Product of the Year, twice, for the FLARE ™ Windshield. Klock Werks started developing a product line with a focus on quality and fitment when a call came to participate in the Discovery Channel Biker Build Off in 2006. They took a chance, said yes, and strategized about how they could debut the new parts ideas. They incorporated them all into the design of the first bagger ever built for the show, and they won! Not three weeks later, they found themselves on the starting line at the Bonneville Salt Flats with the Biker Build Off winning bagger and Laura, wife and owner, as the pilot. In the first 2 passes, she rode to a National Land Speed Record. Reporting a lift in the front end as she increased speed with the stock windshield, they set out to design something that would make the bike safer. The FLARE ™ Windshield was born. Klock Werks kustom creations have been featured in Iron Works and American Iron Magazines to name a few. Their product line was accepted by Drag Specialties in 2006. They continue to develop parts using top of the line manufacturing processes and materials and it's all made right here in the USA. Laura and her daughters Erika and Karlee are hoping to make history this year by racing the same bike at the Bonneville Salt Flats at speeds of 200 miles per hour! Registration will be between 12pm-1pm at the Tea Legion in Tea, South Dakota with the ride lasting til 5p. Ride entry fee is $20 per person which will include:
Poker hand entry,
Lunch (grill out by SEPR before the run),
SEPR T-shirt,
2 raffle tickets
There will be an silent raffle drawings at 5p immediately following the Poker Run at The Tea Legion/VFW- all proceeds from the raffle will go towards the dogs! Feel free if your family cannot make the ride to come out and purchase raffle tickets for any of these great prizes from 12-5p!

Adoption Day = 1st Saturday of the month 1-4pm @ Petco - Sioux Falls
As always, the 1st Saturday of the month is adoption day. This is a cool way to come see the amazing dogs we have and find which one you would like to give them their furever home. Watch the web site and Facebook in the upcoming months as we may be at a few different locations as well.
Help is always appreciated at these events. If you are interested in volunteering for any of these, please contact SEPR. We would love to have you join us. This is an easy way to give back. Please pass all this info to your friends, family, and coworkers…you are our best advertisers.
