Lark ***ADOPTED***
Sex: Female (Spayed)
Age: Young
Weight: 51 lbs
Color: Red and White
Sweet, little Lark. They don't come any kinder than this little bird. She is small and gentle, sweet and loving... we are so excited to watch her grow into the brave little girl we know she will become. For now she is quickly picking up on house rules, is potty trained, knows sit and lay down, and has learned to wait.
Lark is a quick learner with an appetite for all treats! Lark follows commands and does an excellent job with kenneling on command. She will enter the kennel and sit nicely, waiting for us to latch the kennel. We are working with her on sitting calmly in the kennel when we come home to let her out. Lark does an excellent job while being kenneled throughout the day. She has been kenneled for around 8 hours on average with no accidents.
Lark is definitely a lover, lover of her human family as well as her furry foster brother and foster sister. Lark loves to play, but snuggling with her people is at the top of her list. Lark’s favorite toy is a tennis ball of any kind! She could keep herself busy for quite some time throwing the ball up, and then chasing it around the yard.
Meal time is a breeze with Lark. She has learned to lay and wait for her food. She is also learning that puzzles containing treats and food are fun! Lark has also been a rock star with nail trimming and bath time.
With the warmer weather, she has been going for more and more walks. Lark listens very well while on walks, and is working hard on staying in heel position. Lark also does well with car rides, she prefers to lie down on the seat rather than catch the wind between her ears.
Lark is excited to meet her forever family and get snuggled into her forever home! She loves her people and furry friends alike and hopes to find a home with an active family and room to run. If you have a ball for her to chase or a lap to crawl into, she will be a very happy girl.
