Loki – a trickster and the god of mischief, who was later bounded to a rock for his trickery. This pretty much sums up this guy’s life as we know, instead of a rock, it was a shelter. Now that this little trickster has caught your eye, let him tell you a little about himself.
Greeting friends, and hopefully my forever home! As you just read, I am a trickster and the god of mischief, no not the bad mischief, the playful type like you see in children. You know, the type of children that I get along with, well at least the two year old that lives with me that walks up-right and funny. He also screams at times, but I don’t mind that one bit, actually the only noise I disagree with are the loud sudden ones that would even get you to jump. Foster dad has been keeping my belly full of hot dogs, and other assorted treats for not making his house a restroom, and using his yard.
Another way to keep my belly full of those tasty treats is when my foster family tells me to sit, I sit. They tell me to shake, I shake. They tell me to lay, I lay. It is that simple, do you think I have them trick in believing I am actually working hard for those treats? Nahhhh, not at all!
Overall I get a lot of good boys, great job buddy, and ahhhh you’re so sweet (mainly from foster mom). They all give me a feeling that I have never felt before. J I do cause some mischief in my crate that is unwanted by my Foster Family, but I am working on it so hard! One day I am going to trust that someone will come back to let me out, but it is hard to not bark to tell my foster family to let me out. There are so many other activities that I would rather be doing then in my crate when no one is home. You know like, relaxing on the couch, (I am going to convince my foster family to get me a recliner). I also like to lay on their feet when they are relaxing with me. I am mellow, and thank heavens I was saved by these mellow humans.
Not only do I live with a 2yr old human, I also have a four legged brother dog that I am connected at the hip with. Our days are spent away from each other since we are both crated while the foster parents are at work, but when we are out it is a whole other story. We play for about 10 minutes, then it is time to take a rest on our dog beds/sleep on the couch when we are invited. That’s about all the energy I have. I am just relaxing and enjoying the rest of my life!
Foster Dad says I am a great short leash walker. I don’t fess one bit over my general leader because I know it is time to go see what the rest of the neighborhood is up to or hit up happy hour at the local watering hole! When we go to happy hour, I get a lot of attention from all walks of life, and I love every bit of it. I keep all paws on the ground and enjoy the rubs and treat handed to me!
I also get visitors at my foster home, when I hear someone knock, I become a two-bark-doorbell then I am content with myself. Once the visitor is in my house and my foster parents give me the okay, I get to smell their feet and legs. After I give them the okay, I like to sit next/on them for some snuggle time.
Things I am still working on to better you home when you adopt me is my crate mischief. I am done trying to break out, but I tend to bark some, especially when I hear people moving about downstairs. Foster dad is working on what will best suit me. So when he finds out what I want or need, I will update you all!
Well gang, that is about all I can tell you right now, until my foster family can discover how much more potential I have inside me. So you all keep it classy while I am working “hard” on becoming the best dog possible.
