She is doing quite well at the basics (sit, stay, down, heel, look) and has also learned shake, dead (kinda), and to wait for just about anything. We can also make her sit and stay, show her a toy, the hide that toy in another room (along with others) and she will search for the one we showed her.
Walks are getting pretty good and we try to take her twice a day, and she is always very willing to go. It usually works best for us to run a block or two to tire her out for the rest (but she's got way more energy than us). Rabbits are her biggest downfall, but we are working on that.
She also loves to play fetch. Many times she will bring her ball over and "accidentally" get it stuck under the couch so I have to throw it for her. She also likes to chase the soccer ball around the yard as Jaimie and I try to keep it away from her.
She now loves car rides, and has gotten a lot of attention at the drive throughs.
She's got a boston terrier friend and they REALLY enjoy playing. They will chase each other round with a rope toy nonstop. Once they get too tired, they just lay there and lick each other's faces. We watch them really close, and I have seen zero aggression from her toward him, or any other dog or cat (or person). She just wants to play with everyone!
Currently she is passed out on Jaimie's homework after a long day of chasing butterflies at the farm.
I want to thank you again for such a wonderful dog! We couldn't imagine life without her. Please pass our thanks and well wishes along to everyone at SEPR, especially Tanyah.
