Brrrr... The lady and I went for a walk and the wind was chilly. She got a sweatshirt for me, but it doesn't quite fit just right. She says she's going to fix it, but.....Well, we'll see. It does help to keep me warm though. Most of us pit bulls have pretty short fur and it's not thick at all. We are not, I repeat, not a dog that can live outside in the winter. It's just too cold. Even if you give us a dog house, there will be days it's just too cold. The wind blows, the snow piles up, and our feet begin to crack. Very painful! The lady has us stay in the house. We have crates that we curl up in with snuggly blankets and sometimes a treat. It's just so much more comfortable when your teeth aren't chattering and your whole body isn't trembling from the cold. The lady told me of a foster dog that she had. The end of her tail was frost bit and she had to have most of her tail removed. Ouch! Please be careful with all of your pets this winter and let us stay inside with you.
