Meet our big handsome Scotland! Scotland’s personality is about as big as his muscles—he is quite the character! A strikingly gorgeous boy who found himself in a city with a breed ban along with his SEPR brother, Dublin, Scotland is relaxing into family life and looking forward to finding a forever home.
Scotland is housebroken and doesn't ever make a mess in his crate. He will let you know when he needs to go out or when he wants attention by whining. Scotland does great walking—he heels and doesn’t pull much, and is learning to accept his gentle leader.
Scotland is easily redirected with a little squirt of water from a squirt bottle, and he’s not a big fan of baths yet. However, he loves water when it comes to lakes and rivers! Scotland likes to play “ninja” with his rope toys; he will grab it and flail it around like a pair of nun-chucks! Scotland does bark at new visitors and his foster dad is working with him on that; however, once Scotland knows you, he is your best friend forever. He sleeps like a gentleman in his foster dad’s bed and likes sleeping with his young sons as well. He does great with his foster home’s two female dogs and likes to follow his “crush” around the house.
Scotland loves car rides and likes to sit quietly in the passenger seat and watch what’s going on. His foster dad says he's a puppy in a bear’s body and he loves to be snuggled! He doesn't know his own size and strength and so good leadership with him will be a must. Scotland needs and loves his exercise, but once he has had his time to stretch his legs and play he will quiet down and make you forget he’s even around. Scotland knows look, sit, lay down, and stay.
This sweet big “bear” is looking for his very own Grizzly Adams—but he’d happily settle for a nice family that loves him. Apply for Scotland today!
