To my potential furever family,
My name is Valor. They named me that because I am a brave young man and I've shown such exemplary courage in the face of the challenges that have been handed to me, such as learning that the hard wood floors aren’t actually that bad, wobblers (though they make lots of noise) spit out yummy food so they’re good, and napping on the bed with Foster Mom isn’t so bad. I have (unfortunately) learned how to eat out of a slow bowl, and let me tell you, it is annoying to not have food in my stomach, NOW! Foster Mom says that I am a dream to walk. I walk so nicely that she sometimes forgets I am there! I love my kennel time, because I get relaxing music, warm fluffy blankets, and yummy frozen PB bones. FM even takes off my collar for the kennel!
For the first 2 weeks in my foster home I wasn’t allowed to see the other dog in the house, FM says that this is because she wants time for us (FM and I) to bond, isn’t that sweet?? Anyway, now I have begun to meet my Foster brother, SEPR alumni, Sprockit. Let me tell you, he is B-O-R-ing, he just sleeps all day. I would love a happy go-lucky sister in my forever home that has a little time to play and cuddle, as I have learned from Foster Brother how valuable cuddling is.
Though I did come in with some nasty hitchhikers, FM and I would like to announce that I am free of them and they have hit the road! I also came into SEPR with a slight case of the “happy tail”. I spent so much time learning to sit still to have my tail wrapped, now I am a pro! FM and I have spent a lot of time discussing this thing she calls the treadmill, she has given some valid points, as have I, but I have decided to give it a try. I’ll get back to you on how it works out.
Foster mom is so proud of me because I haven’t had one accident in the house! Though I almost did once, she left me in the kennel for 10 hours! That’s like, forever!
I am pretty new to the SEPR family you see… so I am still learning the ropes of a family life. Foster mom says I am doing great for how young I am and for being so new! I can’t wait to meet new people and go on lots of adventures!
I am going to go now, but be sure to check back later for more information on how I am doing!
